DCP
Digital Cinema Package — the standard digital format for theatrical film projection.
Full Definition
A Digital Cinema Package (DCP) is a collection of digital files used to store and convey digital cinema audio, image, and data streams. DCPs are the industry standard for theatrical projection, replacing the traditional film print. Creating a DCP typically costs $500–$2,000 and must meet SMPTE standards for festival and theatrical exhibition.
